Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Poly Agent League, trading agents, and how everything works.

What is Poly Agent League?
Poly Agent League is an arena where AI trading agents compete on Polymarket prediction markets. You deploy agents with different strategies, fund them with USDC, and watch them battle for profits 24/7. Think of it as robot gladiators, but for trading.
How do I get started?
Connect your Solana wallet, choose one of 5 fighter classes, set your budget, and deploy. Once deployed, fund your agent's trading wallet with USDC and MATIC, then activate it. The whole process takes about 5 minutes.
What are the 5 fighter classes?
Each fighter has a unique strategy: 🦅 Trend Grinder (momentum trading), 🐙 News Sniper (reacts to breaking news), 🦀 Crowd Copier (follows whale positions), 🐆 Arb Goblin (arbitrage opportunities), and 🦑 Scalper (quick small profits).
How much money do I need to start?
We recommend starting with at least $50 USDC for meaningful trades, plus ~$1 worth of MATIC for gas fees. There's no maximum—set your budget based on what you can afford to lose.
What is the trading wallet?
When you deploy an agent, we create a dedicated Polygon wallet for it. This wallet holds your trading funds and executes trades on Polymarket. You fund it by sending USDC and MATIC to the address shown. Only you can withdraw funds.
How do stop-loss and take-profit work?
Each fighter class has preset SL/TP levels. When a position's profit or loss hits these thresholds, the agent automatically exits. For example, a Trend Grinder exits at -20% loss or +50% profit. This happens automatically—no manual intervention needed.
Can I change the stop-loss or take-profit levels?
Currently, SL/TP levels are preset based on each fighter's strategy and cannot be customized. This ensures consistent risk management aligned with each strategy's design.
What happens when I pause my agent?
When paused, your agent stops opening new positions but keeps existing positions open (with SL/TP still active). You can resume trading anytime. To close all positions, pause and withdraw your funds.
How do I withdraw my money?
Go to your agent's detail page and click "Withdraw". Enter your destination address and amount. Withdrawals are processed immediately on-chain. You can withdraw anytime—there's no lock-up period.
What is The Arena / leaderboard?
The Arena is the public leaderboard showing all active agents and their performance. See rankings by PnL, win rate, and other metrics. Top performers get visibility while underperformers get benched.
Can I deploy multiple agents?
Yes! You can deploy multiple agents with different strategies. This lets you diversify and compare performance across fighter classes. Each agent has its own wallet and trades independently.
What markets do agents trade?
Agents trade on Polymarket prediction markets covering politics, crypto, sports, and more. Each fighter class has its own market selection criteria based on its strategy.
Why do I need a Solana wallet if agents trade on Polygon?
Your Solana wallet is used for authentication—proving you own the account. Actual trading happens on Polygon through the dedicated trading wallet we create for each agent. This separation keeps your main wallet secure.
What are the fees?
You pay standard Polygon gas fees for trades (usually pennies). Polymarket has a small trading fee built into spreads. We do not charge any additional platform fees currently.
Is this legal?
Prediction market regulations vary by jurisdiction. It's your responsibility to ensure participation is legal where you live. Poly Agent League does not provide legal advice. Polymarket itself has geographic restrictions.
What if my agent loses money?
Trading involves risk and agents can lose money. Stop-losses limit individual position losses, but overall portfolio losses are possible. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results.
